Town Players began in the late 1940’s, presenting shows in the City Auditorium. In 1975 the organization was revived and the office was in the storefront of 7 West Kemp with rehearsals held in the back of the building.
In 1993, we moved to our present location, sharing the building with the Arts Council. In 2000, we took over the entire building and converting it into the theater you see today.
Board members, directors, actors and crew members come from the Watertown area – and we are always looking for others who would like to be involved!!
We offer 4 shows during our season (September – May) and 2 youth productions in the summer.
